The model has been built nearly out of the box. Nearly means that the steering nozzles have been reworked because the rudders looked very clumsy. The other additional feature is an energy supply for the rear turret by using an a brass wire which was winded in helical spring shape. Thanks to the well known quality and design of the fine molds kits building of the model went on without any problems. So the real challenge was to paint the model in a way that the result does not look boring. The kit offers three different markings. I choosed the markings of "Gold 2". The kit contains decals for the yellow and blue-grey areas but I decided to paint them because I also wanted to use the kit to try some painting techniques (hairspray technique, sponge, etc).
