The model: |
One could write quite a few pages of
praise. But it could simply be shortend to: "Petr Buchar, CMR"!.
|
Whatever you want to know the answer is:
Yes, excellent! A kit of outstanding quality. Unprecedented. A piece of
model art. |
Take for instance the instruction leaflet.
35 pages. The description itself covers "only" 7 pages, the rest are
profiles of 10 different aircraft with all their different markings and
weapons, photos of real aircraft and last not least 3 pages listing all
colors for these aircraft. The ejections
seats are models itself. All straps and belts (quite a few!) are
provided in photo etched parts. To mention just one highlight. |
The decal sheet is large and comprehensive,
offering markings for said 10 aircraft. |
In one word: Unsurpassable!
- On my side there is no doubt the two new Buccaneer S.2B kits to be
released Feb. 2011 ("Avionics Upgrade" and "Operation Granby") will also
be of highest standard. |

There is just one small point of
criticism: Concerning assembly the drawings are rather small so
sometimes one has to guess which part has to be applied where. |
